A este Guapo canadiense le sobran los talentos. Su nombre es BROCK, mejor conocido como BROOKE LYNN HYTES, Miss Continental 2014-2015. Brock es un bailarín educado y entrenado en el Ballet desde los 15 años de edad. Disciplina que lo ha llevado desde Sudáfrica hasta la capital del mundo, New York.
En 2015 visitó Puerto Rico como parte de la celebración de Miss Puerto Rico Continental y
hablamos con él.
Tell us more about your Ballet/Dance Education.
Sure! I started dancing very late. I was trained at the National Ballet School of Canada from the Age of 15-20 and I then moved to Cape Town South Africa where I danced as a soloist for 2 years before Moving to NYC and dancing with Les Ballet Trcokadero for 4 years.
When did you start dancing? Tell us about your school first days.
When I was 14. It was very hard at the begining because you are teaching your body to do completley new things! But I kept pushing because I loved it...and i wanted to prove everyone wrong:)
Who was your Inspiration in Ballet?
When did Brooke Lynn start doing Drag?
I started doing Drag when I was 19 but I never really took it seriously until I was about 25...That's when I really started getting into it!
How it was for you as an Artist and Performer?
Knowing the ballet world as well as I do I found it a bit over dramatic honestly...But I suppose that was the point. I would have loved it if they cast a real ballet dancer in the part.
When did you decide to perform 'Black Swan' as a talent?
Right after I saw how crazy people went for the movie!
How long it took to Practice the Black Swan talent for the Pageant?
That talent was put together in an hour and we rehearsed 3 more times so around 4 hours all together.
How Important must be Discipline in every Drag Performers life?
Very important! As queens and self employed individuals we dont have a boss telling us what to do or when to do it so you have to be very self motivated to get things done!
What do you think about Puertorican Drags? Have you seen any performing?
I actually ADORE PR drag queens! I have seen many perform and I find them to be some of the most polished, beautiful, and entertaining queens around! And they all have such beautiful eye makeup!
Any Latin Food you like most? What is it?
Arepas!!!
Do you know any word in Spanish (bad or good)?
Callate is my favorite!
What does mean for you 'Happiness'?
Having a job I love, Being in love, Traveling the world and getting to make people happy!
